The founder of Shine, Anne-Hill Gunstensen, had in the middle of the 1960s a serious skin and joint illness. Natural medicine saved Anne-Hill and she decided to spend her life to develop natural health an wellbeing products. Her wish was that others could enjoy these products. After many years in the industry in big and known companies she founded Shine in 1998.
 
Shine is a Norwegian company and celebrates its 10-year anniversary. The company offers approximately 50 products within health supplements and skin treatments. All the products are developed by the company in cooperation with manufacturers and specialists on their profession. The products only have natural ingredients and they are all unique in their own way. All manufacturing is performed after GMP-standards and there are only used active ingredients and standard extracts with documented effects.

Since the beginning of Shine it has expanded and is today represented in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The company has had a rapid growth in the last years. Their turnover has increased from about 2 million USD in 2001 to over 11 million USD in 2007. The company is owned by Nordic Health which will be noted in stock exchange in 2008.
