The entrepreneurial concept of selling top-quality perfumes, cosmetics and body care products at particularly favourable prices enabled Helmut Spikker, the founder and Managing Director of LR International, to lay the foundation stone in 1984 for an extraordinary kind of company.
The result today is one of the most internationally successful cosmetic concerns in the multi-level marketing sales field: LR International.
Ever since its founding in 1985, LR International has recorded exceptional growth rates, achieving an average increase of double figures every year. This explaines how the company in the period from 1988 to the end of 1991 was able to increase its turnovers by more than tenfold.
Such success can be attributed to the rapid progress on the domestic market and also to the work of the subsidiaries abroad. In 2002 the LR Group set up a new turnover record with its total turnover of around 175 million Euros. Such positive developments have naturally created a solid foundation for steady investment in the company. As a result of investments amounting to approximately 20 million Euros from 1997 to 2003, the company's fixed assets have risen to 19 million Euros.
And all those who have greatly contributed to the outstanding presence of LR International on the markets at home and abroad with their efforts and commitment will profit from the Group's resounding success: since 1985 bonus payments and profit margins, amounting to many hundreds of millions of Euros, have been paid out to LR sales representatives in the form of dividends.
